I was just over on Plaidder's blog (she's up there under the friends tab) and she had posted this meme from chlaal:

1. Copy and paste the 5th sentence of your 23rd blog entry.
2. Explain it.
3. Challenge 5 friends to do the same.

So I went to the archives to find my 23rd blog entry. Here's the sentence #5:

Some days it feels like we are grown-up middle-aged adults with two kids, other days like we are children, playing house.

This sentence was posted on December 7, 2004. It was part of my post telling about our 14th wedding anniversary the previous day and remarking how it didn't seem like 14 years had gone by and yet sometimes it seemed like we'd known each other forever.

How ironic that I did this meme tonight, on the eve of our 15th wedding anniversary!

It won't work.

When we first started blogging Dianne didn't believe in commentary. So the 23rd story on our blog is nothing more than a hyperlink to a story without commentary, so there is no fifth sentence to get from it. Would each of our 23rd posts, not the 23rd post on the blog itself? Would that work? I can't promise that will be any better.

Yes, try the 23rd post for each of you. Or the 23rd post after you started doing commentary in addition to hyperlinks. I thought about it after I'd posted that I should have included you, too, mandrake.
